Boris Pevzner co-founded Lontra in 2005 with the vision of becoming the
leader in the emerging enterprise service portfolio market. Since then,
Boris has advised CIOs and other senior IT executives of Fortune 500
companies on re-aligning IT operations around a service-oriented IT
delivery model. Prior to co-founding Lontra, Boris led product
management and customer support at MathSoft, Inc., an enterprise
software company for managing engineering calculations. Prior to
joining MathSoft, Boris contributed to the development and
commercialization of advanced distributed network surveillance products
for Bell Labs. Boris is a frequent speaker at technology conferences on
IT transformation, ITIL, and service-oriented IT delivery. His CIO blog
provides thought-leading advice and opinion based on his experiences in
developing service-oriented IT delivery concepts and methodologies over
the last six years. He holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in
Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Massachusetts
Institute of Technology.
Ram Duraiswamy co-founded Kintana in 1995, where he has also served as a Director, as Vice President, Strategic Initiatives and as Chief Operating Officer. Kintana was acquired by Mercury Interactive in 2003. Prior to Kintana, Mr. Duraiswamy was an independent consultant, managing Oracle application implementations. Mr. Duraiswamy holds a B.S. in mechanical engineering from the University of Madras, India and an M.S. in manufacturing systems engineering from the University of Texas, El Paso.
Padman Ramankutty brings to Lontra more than 20 years of experience and thought leadership in supply chain management and advanced planning and scheduling solutions. Mr. Ramankutty served as the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Bristlecone, Inc., a global technology consulting company and provider of extended supply chain solutions. In his role, he oversaw the development and execution of go-to-market strategies for Bristlecone’s competencies in supply chain management, ERP, and applications management services. Achievements at Bristlecone included securing partnerships with SAP AG and SAP Labs India and merging with Mahindra Consulting. Prior to founding Bristlecone in 1998, Mr. Ramankutty headed SAP’s High Tech Global Industry Business Unit where he successfully positioned SAP R/3 as the premier enterprise solution for the semiconductor industry. Mr. Ramankutty currently serves as strategic advisor to CIO and VPs of IT of industry-leading companies, including Nike and Rubbermaid, for all IT-related initiatives.
Janpieter Scheerder retired from Sun Microsystems after 10 years in senior executive positions. As the last president of the SunSoft division, Mr. Scheerder was responsible for the development, engineering, marketing, and sales of Sun's software products, including the Solaris operating system. He also served as vice president and general manager of Sun's network servers and information products group, where he directed activities for Sun's server and storage products. Prior to joining Sun, Mr. Scheerder was a senior executive with Data General for 15 years, holding various sales, marketing, and engineering positions
